This is actually really hard, but I am going to have to go with Kurt Angle. (Tied for 2nd- Triple H/Shawn Michaels, 3rd- Edge)

Yeh this is a tough one to call. I think you could go down that list and make a solid argument for pretty much any of them.

Well maybe not Batista.

EDDIE GUERRERO

Michaels is the only top star who's been putting on consistently epic matches and can work entertaining promos. The Rock's presence has been so minimal that I don't count him, and Austin's the same. And with those two gone, there really isn't much competition.

I'd put Michaels over Angle, but the whole McMahon feud dragged him down so Angle comes out on top.

I'd say HBK with Taker a close 2nd.

Angle and Michaels tied.

They were the first two I thought of when I saw the title, before even realising it was also the common consensus.

As much as I hate to admit it, it's HBK. Followed by Angle, HHH, and Cena.

The only reason why I chose Angle over HBK is because Angle wrestled the house shows. HBK has been consistently amazing since he returned in 2002. Angle has as well, but Angle also wrestled more than HBK. I love both guys so much. I really wish Kurt was back with WWE now that he seems to be a lot healthier. A lot of that could be related to the lighter work schedule.
