Korn is simply awful
 

Yeah, pretty much one of the worst bands around. I absolutely hate them.. if they ever come on the radio even in someone else's car I am like "Fuck this.." and change the station. Can't believe I ever used to somewhat like them when I was back in school. If I could go back in time like mentioned in Supreme's thread, I would go back in time and punch myself in the face for ever listening to them.

I think they play even lower than drop D.

Their first 2 cds (Korn and Life is Peachy) were good, Follow the Leader wasn't bad... The rest are fucking awful.

Got their first five albums, but never really liked them. Every song is the same... I've always said that, but there's always some Korn fan waiting to defend them.

Actually, I remember reading this "Top 100 Guitarists" list somewhere, where Korn's guitarists were like 50 or whatever, and John Petrucci (Dream Theater) was 51. Fuck that if you don't know who Petrucci is listen to some Dream Theater. No way is he beneath the fucking Korn guitarists.

They are pretty simplistic, but i'm OK with that if sounds cool. Early Korn does sound cool. Makes me bounce my head. I don't always need 3 and a half minutes of musical genius.

Only if Rob Flynn made the list.

I think they peaked in 99 with Issues and ever since have become a complete failure.

You don't really have to care. All I'm saying is that Korn's guitarists were rated higher than John Petrucci, who is arguably one of the best guitarists today, and has a billion times more talent than both Korn guitarists combined.

But if you need an example, try and find a Dream Theater song called "The Glass Prison", or a Liquid Tension Experiment song called "Acid Rain" (Also featuring Petrucci)... let's see if Korns guys can play that.

I remember those days well... everyone had a Korn hoody back then and were all doodling that doll or whatever... But I guess at the time the music reflected a lot of the youngsters "Nobody cares about me, and I don't care about them, fuck the world" kinda attitude.

The best Korn song ever was "Falling to Pieces."

Too bad that it was actually done by Faith No More, and was used as the template for EVERY Korn song.

Korn was ok during their first 3 albums, then they just went to shit. Still one or two songs I listen to, Blind and another I cant remember the name of

surely it's are, not is. why do people refer to bands as is. they are a collective of people, thus are. solo artists are allowed is, like elton john.
