Better Wrestler #24

Hot match up last time. The Dean Machine was on a roll and looked nigh unstoppable, but the Human suplex Machine put the Ice man out in the cold and became our newest Better Wrestler Champion. Can Taz go all the way? To do so first he will heave to go through an old rival:

Three days as par for the course.

Taz for me here. Back in '97 he was my favorite wrestler, and he deserved it. Sabu is fun, violent and all that good jazz, but he's nothing next to Taz.

Yeah that's pretty much why i would vote taz.

Kane Knight 05-28-2008 04:45 PM

Taz.

Porcupine 05-28-2008 04:46 PM

Taz even though I am upset at him beating Malenko. Sabu never really appealed to me.

thedamndest 05-28-2008 05:47 PM

Surely you could have found a better picture of Sabu. It looks like he's pointing and cowering under a very intimidating gigantic Taz. Not to mention the WWE logos...

Voted for Taz because I feel like he had a lot more ways to suplex a man than Sabu had to jump off a chair or throw a chair at you, and when it comes down to it that's just how you win wrestling matches.

Rammsteinmad 05-28-2008 05:51 PM

Taz

PapaGeorgio 05-28-2008 05:58 PM

Cleaned out my closet and just found 2 of my Tazz shirts. One is awesome button up one, need to drop some pounds so they fit comfortably on me though.

Ruien 05-28-2008 06:07 PM

Taz, everything was already said basically.

Indifferent Clox 05-28-2008 06:23 PM

Taz

Dorkchop 05-28-2008 06:39 PM

Taz. I never liked Sabu.

Xero 05-28-2008 07:25 PM

How is this even a contest?

I mean, there are people who Sabu COULD beat, but this is ridiculous.

Taz, obviously.

Destor 05-28-2008 09:11 PM

LOL @ the blow out

Xero 05-28-2008 09:29 PM

I have to believe legend's vote was either a mistake or a pitty vote.

Destor 05-28-2008 09:37 PM

Dunno, I think it's a fiar first round match for him, someone who he has rich history with and someone he was compared to during his peak.

thedamndest 05-28-2008 09:48 PM

Should have used a better Sabu picture...

Destor 05-28-2008 09:52 PM

He is pointing to the awesomeness that is Taz

Xero 05-28-2008 09:56 PM

See what you did Destor? You subliminally forced the majority to vote for Taz by having Sabu endorse him.

The One 05-28-2008 10:19 PM

Taz, though Sabu is my favorite feud of Taz's.

A little.

<img src="http://www.geocities.com/officialsabu/sabu522.JPG">

Should have used this picture. Do you think chairs just come from the factory wrapped up in barbwire like that? No, no they do not. It is up to the wrestler to carefully wrap up the chair in the barbwire, knowing full well he is going to get pricked thousands of times but that those little pains will be worth it if he just gets to blast his opponent in the face once with that fucking chair. Also, this picture shows that Sabu is not afraid to wrestle with an injury, or with some type of industrial nail when he can't find a mouth piece.

McLegend 05-28-2008 10:25 PM

You should obviously use a picture of his from ECW. Not TNA or WWE.

Theo Dious 05-28-2008 10:59 PM

Taz. As much as I'm not his biggest fan, the man has talent. Sabu is the glorified stuntman that Flair accused Foley of being.
That being said, I would have voted for Sabu over Malenko, because he is fairly entertaining, but he doesn't come close to Taz's intensity.

Theo Dious 05-28-2008 11:00 PM

Also, Taz can, you know, talk.

Mercury Bullet 05-29-2008 12:32 AM

LOL 20-1-1 at the moment

Heros Welcome 05-29-2008 12:58 AM

Sabu was always a fun watch for me. I am also a big fan of his...BUT when it comes to TAZ this is no contest at all. Taz was such a bad ass and didn't need the weapons to be one...but a table is nice once in a while.....

Vote goes to TAZ

Vastardikai 05-29-2008 01:19 AM

Taz beyond a shadow of a doubt. He was one of my favorite ECW guys, because he talked more shit than a Sanitation Worker and could back it up.

If you hear "War Machine," you know someone is gonna get fucked up.

The only worker who comes close to Taz as far as Awesomeness at 5'6" is Kevin Sullivan. He was insanely powerful and intense, you forgot he was as short as he was.

In 10 years, Sabu will be either dead from Pain Killers or going through tables in front of crowds of 100 people at most. Taz's in ring career is over, but he'll still be a viable part of this business.

What Would Kevin Do? 05-29-2008 07:17 AM

Nothing against Sabu, he pales in comparrison to Taz!

NoRoolz 05-29-2008 10:11 AM

Yeah, I like Sabu, but this is a 'Taz' vote easily for me.

Destor 05-29-2008 01:20 PM

This poll is pretty awesome.

thedamndest 05-29-2008 02:23 PM

Stay tuned next for Taz vs. Barry Horowitz!

Destor 05-29-2008 02:44 PM

Barry Horowitz would CRUSH Taz!

Afterlife 05-29-2008 03:22 PM

I thought Taz was a boring wrestler, but at least he was a wrestler. Sabu is entertaining, and his bouts are brutal as shit, but I've never seen him fucking wrestle anybody.

Afterlife 05-29-2008 04:05 PM

Point is, I voted for Taz. Just wanted to make that clear.

Damn. This is a slaughter, and I think the biggest gap in this to date.

Vastardikai 05-30-2008 03:42 AM

*Blasts "War Machine"*

It is, it beat RVD vs Santino. And Im shocked really. Didn't realize Taz was so over.

Afterlife 05-30-2008 07:44 AM

I think it's more that Sabu is under.
