Better Wrestler #25
Well, after the last match I think it's safe to say that TPWW thikns Taz is better than Sabu. In our biggest blow out to date Taz moves on, but can he beat today's challenger?

I'll take the wrestler over the spot monkey.
Same as Destor. Nothing Jeff does impresses me anymore, because I seen it all already.
Same thing for me as Tazz Vs Sabu.
One is a talented wrestler with a great persona and the other is, well, not much of a wrestler and not much on the mic/persona wise who depends too much on high spots and hardcore matches to get over. So, since I am not that big on the one dimensional wrestlers (IE Jeff, Sabu), I will go easily with Tazz again. |
Taz, always Taz.
Big fan of both men, but TAZ is the better wrestler. Followed both men for a long time, and it is close, but Jeff does rely on the high spots to put his matches over the top. Vote is going to TAZ.

Hardy is already doing better than Sabu
I vote Hardy because I have only seen Taz(z) in WWE and only snippets of his ECW stuff.
I voted Jeff. I don't know why. I think I should have voted for Taz.
Dorkchop if Taz loses by one vote I will not be forced to kill you for that admittance.
Is this a joke? Taz, obviously.

I have to choose Jeff. I like Taz, but I enjoy Jeff's matches more.
9-9 |
Taz will make Jeff just another Victim to the Path Of Rage
10-9 |
Would've voted jeff, but since he fucked his last push up im gonna vote taz.
Vote for the spot monkey from me
Ironically, I voted Jeff this time. Sure, Taz is a better grappler, but Jeff has never bored me thru an entire match. The guy has a style and a flow all his own, and he always entertains me.
Taz.
This one's not even close for me, though I know Jeff will do well in this round. I understand he's beloeved, but to me, Tazz ranks over the guy who's primarily loved because he plays "Jackass: The Home Game" on TV. |
Taz, Taz, Taz. Jeff has never even been my favorite Hardy, though I do think he's improved by leaps and bounds even since the beginning of this last stint in the WWE from matches to mic work (although less so in mic work). Now if he'd quit getting suspended...
Taz will just always be one of my top guys, regardless of how he was neutered when he came to the WWE. Royal Rumble 2000 is probably still something that keeps Angle awake at night. |
While jeff has come along way in the past year, he still doesn't come close to beating ECW Taz.
ECW Taz > Jeff Hardy > The Taz |
Jeff's come a long way in the last year, but most of it involves things he should be doing in the first place. You shouldn't be a worthless druggie. You should be a competent wrestler. You should put effort into your matches. You should give a shit about your career.
There are a ton of hungry wrestlers who would probably throw themselves off ladders for the opportunities Jeff has been given over the years. People who want to be there. People with real passion and talent, whose "Charisma" doesn't come out of a food colouring kit. |
It's 15-12 at this moment...I'm honestly surprised it's this close. I figured Taz would win another landslide.

This is about how I figured it would go down, though to be fair Hardy is pretty over on this board, he could still beat Taz.
(Although Taz is clearly better)
I'm voting Jeff Hardy here based soley on character believeability. I could never really get behind Taz as the badass suplexing killfest that they portrayed him as because he was something like 5'2''. Jeff, on the other hand, never dominates matches or anything, and usually gets his ass kicked for much of the contest until he finds some wily way to pull it out in the end. I can see that from a guy like Jeff.
I have no idea why that's how I voted this time, but it just felt right. |
Taz.
A far better wrestler, very good on the mic, and even in retirement made for a pretty entertaining commentator. Jeff is only really good for jumping off of stuff. |
But Taz is from the Red Hook section of Brooklyn. That's just how they do it there, even if you are small you suplex until everyone else is dead.
I've already voted. There's no turning back at this point.
Wow, anybody notice in that picture of Taz at the top of the thread, somebody spelled his name with two Z's before that was even 'correct'? Nice foresight, sign dude.
huh...
Nifty
Nah, when Mike Awesome left for WCW they borrowed Taz from WWE to win the title off of him. He then dropped the belt to Dreamer.
Oh yeah. How the hell could I forget that...
Oh, word.
That one may be explainable, but what is odd is that at ECW's Guilty As Charged 2001 you can clearly see somebody holding up a sign that says "If Cena Wins We Riot."
Taz was just pure wrestling ass kickage.
