Saints Row 2
 

Okay, who's looking forward to it? I know it's not as big a franchise as the GTA series, but I loved the level of customisation, and so I'm looking forward to the second. Every preview I've seen so far has caught my interest, and with a larger, redesigned city, it should be fun if nothing else.

I think it could be good, the first one was alright. It has a good chance to be better than GTA, perhaps not the storyline, but in the details.
I'd like to see Crackdown 2 and Dead Rising 2.

I played the demo and decided it wasn't worth my time. Then later, after playing some of the game at a friend's, I picked it up for like 20bucks used. IT's a solid game, with some fun side activities and the like. I also like the satire in the game a bit better than the satire in GTA.

Unfortunately, crackdown 2 is no longer in the cards. Developer said they are moving on to other things.

One of the things I'm looking forward to is a full CAW (Create-A-Wigger) option for the game. It's not that I don't like Niko Bellic, but I'd rather have the option of creating my own guy to run around the city with. I know you can for multiplayer in GTA, but I'd like to run through CAW in story mode.

Co-Op Play should be awesome as well.

That insurance fraud activity in the first one was fucking stupid. Hope they don't have shit like that in this one.

Saints Row > GTA4..
I don't know what it was with saints row but it had something which always made you want to go back to it.
Most of you know that For about 4 months all i played was saints row.

Is SR2 coming out to PS3?

GTA4 had shit all activities to do, you get shit all from doing them to...
The story wasn't all that great and neither was the online. GTA was a dissapointment, over rated.

GTA's overrated, but it's far from a disappointment. Granted, the activities and even "dating" are kinda lame, but the game itself is still fun and there's plenty to do. Doesn't change the fact that I roll my eyes when one of my buddies wants to see a show or go to a tittie bar.

mayhem was pretty fun aswell tbh.
The only one I wasn't solid with was the drug traffiking, but that was still pretty good.

I can't speak for multi-player but on the single player front, nothings changed. I mean the story has, but the city hasn't. The gameplay hasn't.

Katana swords and chainsaws (Even though the close up sawing shots are a Gears of War rip off) are great and there is more customization. It's all good, because I enjoyed the first game but come on, they could have done a lot more. No game breaking bugs so far though

There are new fighting styles, you can customize your gang and new activities to be fair.

Oh and most female clothes give you more style than male ones, so I am currently wearing a double brested suit jacket, with a top hat, clown make up, a dressy skirt with a slit down the side, fishnet stockings, platform shoes, a thong and a bra so I can get maximum style.

Activity wise, it's good. UFC fighting with weapons and tap-outs? Mmmhhmmm. Fuzz, where a reporter follows you around dressed as police and you deal with minor incidents with extreme brutality while he gets footage is awesome. I even broke up the Pirate V Ninja fight of the century.

The thing I always thought was better than GTA in the first one where the boss fights. I've defeated one gang and the 3 boss fights I've had so far were clever, but a bit simple. I'm really hoping I get some of an epic scale soon.

It's great, I would recommend it. But if you haven't played the first one you might as well pick that up for cheap first and wait for this to come down in price.

I was looking at downloading it, haven't found any reputable ISOs yet though.

There's not a scene release that I've seen, just Saints.Row.2.PAL.SeedME which is what I got and works perfect.
