These people are insane. They seriously need shots.
Huge uproar over management deciding to remove Bret Favres name plate off his locker. Which he doesn't use. Because he doesn't play anymore. MOVE THE FUCK ON! People are acting like Jesus Christ died there. Why leave it on? So the next poor shmuck who uses it is reminded every day that he'll never be as good or as respected as Bret Favre? As if doing something as insignifigant as changing the nameplate is going to demean his accomplishments. Sports fans can be so ridiculously stupid sometimes, I swear to god. |
Yeah I mean, I am as huge a Favre fan as the next guy (if the next guy is John Madden, even), but this is ridiculous. The man was great, but yeah time to move on guys. I guess they're just clinging to his greatness since they prolly won't have a QB to really come close to it for a while. Dunno. He is legend there.
