Death and lost appendages at Slammiversary

From PWInsider:

WMC-TV in Memphis is reporting that a TNA crew worker who was helping to break down TNA's metal backdrop fell 15-20 feet to the ground when scaffolding collapsed, suffering injuries that caused him to pass away.

The incident occurred shortly after the PPV went off the air. The local police and fire department arrived quickly and the crew worker was was rushed to Baptist DeSoto hospital in Southaven, MS, but his injuries were too severe.

Another worker with a local group, Crew 1, lost his thumb in the scaffold collapse but is expected to recover. The names of the men involved in the incident have not yet been released to the public.

I am told that much of TNA's wrestlers and staff had already left the venue at the time of the incident.

I guess that guy really fell for the PPV...

Too soon?

Is a thumb really an appendage or just a digit? Or is it one of those things where all digits are appendages but not all appendages are digits?

That's terrible. :( Guy probably was making shit for a living too.

Look, I'm sorry the man is dead, but poor grammar is an insult to his memory.

Damn. And he died for a TNA PPV. Talk about insult to injury.

Good Luck Hitchhiking

Guess the show won't be getting "2 Thumbs Up." :shifty:

He won't be able to do much with that hand, unless it got sewed back on quickly enough.

It's an appendage. It's not a limb.
