World Wrestling Entertainment Suspends Performer

STAMFORD, Conn., June 9, 2008 – In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended James Yun (Jimmy Wang Yang) for 30 days for his first violation of the company’s policy.

I am one of the few who liked Yang more as Akio then as this cowboy character. Too cartoonish for my liking, so while its a shame he gets suspended, I hope he comes back a a serious character.

Of course knowing WWE, he will just reappear back in his velocity jobber role.

I didn't say he lost his act. Just that he needs to get it together. The man violated the wellness policy, which is certainly not good is it? I was also mainly referring to the rebound from the suspension. Hopefully his morale isn't down, he's still the same Jimmy Yang, and he isn't jobbed out beyond reason.
