Looks decent. Liking Ray STevenson's Punisher so far. Closer to the comic than Thomas Jane's.

I will probably like this more than the first.

I liked the first one, thought Jane was really good as the Punisher. Will certainly be seeing this one.

I really liked Tom Jane as the Punisher, and wish this was more a sequel than a "different movie". None-the-less this looks pretty good, and so far Marvel have done really well this year for movies.

Agreed. I hate when two actors play the same character. As far as I'm concerned Tom Jane was awesome as the Punisher, and should still be.

Also, one thing I don't like the look of in the trailer is the collar on Castle's uniform. Looks really weird.

Is Kevin Nash in this one? If not then I won't be seeing it.

I liked the last Punisher movie, but Thomas Jane just wasn't sadistic enough. The whole point of the punisher is that he is on the very edge of hero and villain. Jane looked like a typical revenge movie hero. The Punisher is more than that. The character is supposed to make you feel conflicted, as what was done to him was terrible, but his nature, and the extremes he takes makes you question what side he is really on.

They really didn't present that aspect in Jane's punisher. You more or less were tod the whole way through that what he was doing is right.

This new trailer looks like they go more into the twisted side of the punisher. And Stevenson just looks plain scarier than Jane. I at least can say I like his look for the role more than Jane's at this point. For the rest, I'll have to wait til I see it.

It's as if Stevenson volunteered to be the model for all the Punisher covers, knowing that years later, he would play the part.

Would be funny if there was a scene with nick fury telling castle he damn sure ain't gonna be an avenger.

That looks fucking awful. The first one was atrocious. I don't mind Thomas Jane, he was excellent in Stander but he sleepwalked through the movie. And John Travolta....fuck sake.

I wouldn't waste a penny on seeing that in the cinema or on DVD.

I'm a fan of Garth Ennis' Punisher but can't see there ever being a movie that captures the quality of his storylines, characters etc.

Don't worry, I'll keep my pants on. :o
