It'd have to be Big Boss.
|
Yeah, thats what I got to begin thinking about after I read afew bits and bobs
|
I dunno the whole changing your camo thing seems cool. But if your environment changes every couple minutes, it's gonna slow the gameplay down wicked bad, and probably just become a nuisance.
|
It says you can change on the fly, pretty much like equipping items. It won't slow down gameplay, it'll just make you spend more time in smaller areas depending on the density of enemy troops or some other factor.

And X-box gets the Halo and Dead or Alive series, so shaddap. |
Indeed. If there's any group of gamers out there who has no right to bitch about being "shafted," it's the X-Box kids. You just know that within a year, they'll get Twin Snakes AND Snake-Eater, with a billion new bonus features and minigames.
*has a PS-2, so has very very little room to talk* Anyways, I cannot freakin wait for MGS3. An incredible looking game from an awesome franchise (one of my favorites, in fact), and Snake kinda looks like Chris Benoit in the new one, too. |
looks good
I like the use of different clothes to blend in, that's good in my books  |
I've started playing MGS2 alot recently, it's OK but MGS1 is a far superior game.
And the End to MDS 2 made no sense what so ever. MGS 1 was complicated enough for me. Just keep the game simply and i'll be happy anough of this 'oh this whole thing was just a test bull' and Raiden was a ****ing pussy! |
MGS2 the ending was saying that the whole mission that raiden did was a simulation of sorts, while it was actually happening the missions were made to test his skills... and basicly the whole point is that people can be told what to do and what to think, raiden proved that while doing countless missions without question.
the pariots being dead for over 100 years made out to be that everything from 100 years ago to this day hasn't been looked over and controlled... i.e. World wars, massive amounts of death etc. that's that I got from it, I'm not sure about the rest of you. |
Metal Gear Solid 1 + 2 were and still are awesome games. I still play the original and have slaughtered both games to death. I can't wait for the next game.
As for "Snake" being "Big Boss" in Snake Eater although likely, everything is not what it seems when it comes to Metal Gear Solid. |

I think Snake Eater has many meanings, being used as a term for someone in special forces and because of the fact that animals need to be eaten to survive in the game. Oh yeah, Sniper Wolf refers to him as Saladin in MGS, so I guess we know his kurdish name. |
