I have a feeling Vince McMahon will die on Monday Night RAW.

Monday Night RAW on June 11, 2007 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania: Vince McMahon died in a limo explosion (the same night as a WWE Draft and Vince McMahon Appreciation Night).

This upcoming week:

Monday Night RAW on June 23, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas: The WWE Draft will be held on the same night as Vince McMahon's Million Dollar Mania continues...

I can see them trying the angle over again...

Theo Dious 06-18-2008 12:37 AM

I can see them pulling something equally ridiculous, not the exact same thing though.

KingofOldSchool 06-18-2008 01:13 AM

That'd be funny if Vince's stretch hummer explodes and they explain that as the reason to not do the Million dollar thing that night.

James Steele 06-18-2008 01:15 AM

I wonder how many people will get shitty amounts of money (ie. $2, $6) so they can fill the 3 hours up with more MILLION DOLLAR MANIA segments.

James Steele 06-18-2008 01:15 AM

I also think Vince will get his money back when he puts the giant electric McMillion Dollar Bill sign on WWEAuction.

Ed McMahon will buy it and send Vince a Publisher's Clearing House check.

With the way Vince dials, they could fill it up with 3-4 segments.

Evil Vito 06-18-2008 12:47 PM

Although I'd be gutted getting the $1, a $1 check from Vince would make a nice souvenir...and would probably net much more than $1 on eBay. :shifty:

Legend Killer 06-18-2008 07:43 PM

I would say thank you if I won. Cuz I was on TV and everyone else wasn't... HEHE

LOL @ the person getting one dollar

Is it illegal to sell a check on eBay? Cause a check from Vince McMahon's personal bank account (hey FourFifty, does it really come like that?) could increase that investment a bit...

addy2hotty 06-18-2008 08:57 PM

Wouldn't be surprised that in a swerve...either:-

1. Vince wins a large amount himself. 'Oh thats my phone!'...BOOO MAJOR HEEL HEAT.

2. A GM wins and uses it to BUY a wrestler from another brand - leading to countless 'priceless' comments from Dibiase.

Either way, the whole three hours will suck quite badly. We won't be surprised if Cena moves and that would be the only real surprise due to the lack of any actual 'stars' on any of the shows beyond the 'protected' one.

Rob 06-18-2008 09:00 PM

I'd laugh if Vince croaked. Only thing that could possibly be funnier than this giveaway.

Mr. Nerfect 06-18-2008 11:24 PM

"This better be important, dammit! I'm trying to give away $1,000,000 of Americana to WWE fans!"
"Dad, I'm pregnant!"
"I said something important, dammit!
"You're the father."
*Vince pulls his ear ala Ric Flair being revealed as half-owner of the WWE*

Bank on it.

"We're gonna need another Vinnie."

It could be like Lunchtime suicide. Every Raw, Vince could get blown up in a new and ridiculous way that would stick until something horrific happened.

So would Paul Bearer return to be his Manager?

Mr. Nerfect 06-19-2008 01:01 AM

One thing I wish they did with the draft, is actually bring up developmental talent that they would call up anyway, as well as maybe returning stars that haven't debuted yet, and assigned them to brands with it.

For example: Nick Nemeth has been working RAW dark matches with his "The Natural" character. It seems logical that the WWE want him on the RAW brand, so why not use the draft to introduce him, and then have an article on WWE.com explaining who he is. D'Lo Brown is apparently coming back, so he can get sorted to SmackDown!. Ron Killings to RAW, etc. It'd add an extra dimension to things.

Xero 06-24-2008 12:06 AM

Xero 06-24-2008 12:18 AM

He was never going to die in the limo either, so it's the same concept.

KingofOldSchool 06-24-2008 12:19 AM

Vince didn't die so theoretically you're wrong.

NeanderCarl 06-24-2008 12:46 AM

Wow.

NeanderCarl 06-24-2008 12:47 AM

Methinks somebody in Stamford reads TPWW.

JamesSteele...

Steel is a type of Metal.

Metal was an old WWF show.

WWF... When they changed their name, they "Got the F Out"...

F... "F" is used in two of John Cena's moves.

JamesSteele is John Cena!

FourFifty 06-24-2008 12:57 AM

Three more steps and he would have said Steele was Hitler.

John Cena feuded extensively with JBL.

JBL once got in hot water for goosestepping and throwing up the Nazi salute in Germany.

OMG James Steele is Hiter!!!

Where's my prize, dammit.

Theo Dious 06-24-2008 01:59 AM

Additionally, I would like to thank those who noticed my precognition before I mentioned it and rewarded me with rep. Much appreciated.

Mercury Bullet 06-24-2008 02:27 AM

I just rewatched it and you can even see how it was rigged to fall with two hinge-type things.

The camera work was atrocious.

At least the limo was believable (you know what I mean) because they actually DID blow up a limo and actually had a really good cut.
