Just picked up their album. Pretty great. Lead signer reminds me of Debbie Harry and is FUCKING HOT

don't know too much about them but they're on the radio here a fair bit, adding to the whole manc awesomeness thing, so it's cool with me.

I can't stand the one song I've heard

The other stuff I've heard isn't quite as annoying as the single (I forget what it's called), but it's still not especially great. :-\

Terrible novelty-of-the-moment band. She tries too hard and looks like she gets dressed with the lights out (oh, no, but that's "cool", right?) and he looks like he couldn't give two shits.

Plus, as if it matters anymore, the music sucks.

The Ting Ting's are incredible.

I think a lot of the male contingent just like them because they find Katie White attractive, and think it's "cool" to be into the latest band of the moment. Thing is, you can go to any university campus anywhere in the UK and find yourself 50 Katie Whites. Nothing special.

Thought 'That's not my name' was ok, heard 'Shut up and let me Go' a few weeks back in a mix and thought it was great. Later found out it has been used on an iPod commercial :o

I think they are pretty shite really. Don't like the single, and didnt like the 10 minutes I watched of them at Glasto.

Also, there were way hotter girls watching them at Glasto than the one on stage.

ALSO..... The Mask is absolutely correct. Other than the odd few, like Boo Radleys, Lightning Seeds, The Coral, Apollo 440, Elvis Costello and Echo and the Bunnymen... The rest of the shining lights from 'The greatest music city in the world' are just.... shite.
