Nash is looking good

Saw him on TNA last night, and he looks to be in better shape than he has looked in a long time. Anyhow, lets discuss why you think Kevin Nash is god.

Afterlife 06-27-2008 10:10 AM

You have such a man-crush.

BigDaddyCool 06-27-2008 10:20 AM

I do have a man crush, but it is for Johnny Nitro's abs.

Theo Dious 06-27-2008 10:27 AM

What could possibly be more godlike for a wrestler than ascending to the top of America's three most major promotions in modern wrestling?

BigDaddyCool 06-27-2008 10:31 AM

It would be nice if Nash won the TNA title just to be the first man to ever legit hold the WCW, WWF(E), and TNA world belts, not that the TNA belt means anything.

Theo Dious 06-27-2008 10:46 AM

It would shut up anyone who would say "he never won THIS belt!" and would keep someone else from doing it first.

BigDaddyCool 06-27-2008 10:50 AM

Plus, Nash does look like a legit contender for the TNA title, being a whole 10 inches taller and 3 pounds lighter than Joe's fat ass.

thedamndest 06-27-2008 11:16 AM

I would like to see an episode of Impact where Nash doesn't actually win or even want to win the TNA belt for that matter, but just holds it above Joe's head for an hour going "You want the belt? You want the belt?" and then pulls it away when he jumps for it. It would out-rate the current product.

Liar.

thedamndest 06-27-2008 11:19 AM

If it featured Nash for an hour I would watch it.

BigDaddyCool 06-27-2008 11:29 AM

Nash = ratings, it is a proven fact.

Afterlife 06-27-2008 11:29 AM

But it only takes 4 seconds to tear your quad while walking.

BigDaddyCool 06-27-2008 11:42 AM

He was kinda running or jogging.

Kurt Angle has already done this, BDC.

Unless of course you don't consider the WCW Championship win during the 2001 InVasion to be "legit."

Don't consider it legit. After April 99, the title quit meaning much of anything. With 25 title uns lasting less than a month (27 days or less), the title ment shit. And Angle's was a whole 6 days. Nash held it for at 63 days.

Blue Demon 06-27-2008 12:28 PM

And let's start taking bets on when the quad tear will be.

Was that when he drew the highest numbers in wrestling history, or was that before as Diesel? I need that graph...

He first did it as Diesel, then he broke his own records by defeating Bill Goldberg when he sold out 500,000 seats.

Mercury Bullet 06-27-2008 03:32 PM

Nash will win the title and spark TNA's rise to prominence.

Juan 06-27-2008 03:37 PM

Does Nash still rock the short, grey hair look?

Nah. He now rocks the long, gray hair look.

Juan 06-28-2008 04:07 AM

Oh my.

Fox 06-28-2008 10:08 AM

He looks like an old, wise lion-man.

Afterlife 06-28-2008 11:37 AM

I want a leaked copy of the script when that happens. :D Oh and have him attack West and Tenay too.

And that gray hair just makes him appear so young and fresh.

Seriously, though, Nash looks like he is in really good shape. And the character he is playing is pretty awesome. He likes using his head now, because he knows his body can't take shit (although it can still dish it out). He's playing a wise character, which fits his going gray look.

I'd personally like to see Kevin Nash do a full turn at Houston, and hit Samoa Joe with a steel chair, or something, and allow Booker T to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in Houston, Texas. This would make Booker the second man to hold the WCW, World Heavyweight and TNA Championships, and I'd mark out for "politics being back."

Old vs. New would be a pretty good feud for TNA, I think.
