And I agree tenfold. The KOTOR games are amazing.

I love the system, the story is engaging. Great games. I would be on this bandwagon.

Doubt it will happen. Mass Effect is gonna be their new baby for a while, as is their MMO. That, and Dragon Ages (I think is what it's called) I'm fairly sure Bioware and LucasArts had a falling out of sorts several years back.

Not to say it couldn't happen eventually, but I doubt it will be any time in the next 5 years.

Bioware didn't do the second one. The only thing Bioware had to do with 2 was that the engine was based on Bioware's. So a 3rd one is still possible within 5 years without Bioware.

Forgot about that. Though honestly the first -was- the better of the two.

Storyline wise, I agree. 2's gameplay was better(combat was far better/smoother in 2 imo), as was character development. And alot of cosmetic/not overly important stuff was better in 2, such as jedi/dark jedi robes actually looking like robes.

Yeah. I was about to say a KOTOR 3 is in the works. But I hearing from one place it might be an MMO, and another as just a regular game.

KotoR 3 is not going to be an MMO. It is an absolutely ridiculous rumor that's been spreading for months ever since Bioware announced they were making an MMO. Due to their previous work with Star Wars, people instantly went crazy over the possibility that it would be a Star Wars game.

Just.. no. It won't happen.

To be fair though, your claims that it wont be KOTOR have as much backing them as the claims that it will be KOTOR...

I'm not saying one won't ever happen. But it isn't going to be this new MMO from Bioware that people are going nuts over. I have no doubt that the MMO will be sci-fi, but Bioware has stated that they want to work on their own IPs.

There's a 20+ page thread somewhere on MMORPG.com that goes through all the different facts and rumors about the game. I'm not just spouting my mouth based off of my own desires. I think it'd be cool if there was a new Star Wars MMO. But I just don't think it's going to happen for at least 5 years.

People seem to forget that at the moment Sony Online Entertainment owns the rights to a Star Wars MMO. Theirs is still up and running (limping, but they -did- renew their rights to it for several more years)

And seeing as EA owns Bioware now, I highly doubt Sony would sell the rights to a competitor.

KOTOR3 as an mmo would piss me off immensely :mad: I've had enough of MMO's thanks to WoW.

Yeah, because WoW is a good example of a high quality MMO and all.
