Nintendo rumored to make a Kid Icarus game for Wii
 

Cool I guess, although I fucking hated Kid Icarus.

Kid Icarus was hard as hell, but yeah been rumored, basically confirmed for awhile now. Expect to see it at E3

Nintendo needs to start coming up with some new IP's already and stop rehashing all their oldies. Enough is enough.

Seeing Icarus in brawl pretty much confirms it.

I think nintendo should reinvent certain franchises like my favorite game series zelda for instance, twilight princess was shitty since it was just like OoT

Yeah, there is " leaked art work" from the game on some site or other with different models and sketches of what Pit could look like. Some have tatooes others have Undertaker style Ministry beards and a lot are muscular adult-Pit sketches and not the little cherub look he has in Brawl. Lots of possible looks.

IT's been rumoured since before Wii's launch. I won't hold my breath.

Yeah there was a video on YouTube a while ago about Capcom working on a 3D game for the GameCube that had the same gameplay Kid Icarus might have in 3D complete with a winged hero but for some reason they cancelled it and the people that made the YouTube video thought it meant that perhaps Capcom was asked by Nintendo to work on a new Kid Icarus game so stopped working on their original game.

Speculation as always but interesting.
