While the "storylines" as well as many of the moves are fake, the blood, sweat, tears, and many of the injuries sustained in the ring are not. So no, I don't think wrestling is fake at all.

Saying to a wrestler "I think this is fake" is probably the silliest thing anyone could ever do (to a guy that agressive anyway), but none-the-less that wrestler came across as a total asshole anyway.

I believe DrA's argument deals with the effort put into the creation of the story, rather than the actual story itself. So if we're comparing wrestling to a movie, which often requires people to perform potentially dangerous stunts then movies are in fact not fake.
