Does Soma Joe have creative control in TNA?

Was playing Total Extreme Wrestling 08 with TNA and I put Joe in a match and put him to lose but a screen came up saying he used his creative control to block it.

Does he have it for real? Maybe that's why he's being pushed down our throats.
