The night I met Kofi Kingston
 

Kofi Kingston was walking around the casino after RAW last night. I saw him surrounded by a group of ppl and was taking pictures with them and signing autographs. As I approached the group, there were 2 annoying teenagers who were probably 13 or 14 and they were asking him questions about OTHER wrestlers! "Hey Kofi, what's up with Kane?" one of the kids asked. "I don't know, he's mad" Kofi answered, "I try to stay away from him." Then the other kid said, "Yo Kofi, any other wrestlers walkin' around?" and Kofi answered, "I don't know man, look around."

Oh and maybe the worst one was a kid who had one of those big replica championship belts from the souvenir stand. He wanted Kofi to sign it and said, "Kofi, you got a sharpie?" Kofi just said, "no man, sorry."

When it was my turn to meet Kofi, we shook hands, said hello, and I congratulated him on being the IC Champ. He was clearly ANNOYED by that point because of those 3 kids I just mentioned and who can blame him?!? Poor guy.

I'd be annoyed too if some marks came up asking about the storyline.

Hey, he should be happy that marks still exist in this day and age. They'll be the ones paying his salary in about ten years for the most part.

LOL, I'm actually guilty on that one with Edge. I met him before WM 23 last year and said that his undefeated streak at WM was coming to an end. And he said "year, Undertaker's streak". So I kind of got a smart ass answer from him, but it was cool.

But sometimes the little kids can really be annoying. Kofi didn't want to seem like the bad guy and diss them, but sometimes they deserve it.

Sounds cool. Meeting wrestlers is cool (unless it's Bubba Ray Dudley).

You should have just run up, yelled JAMAICAN ME CRAZY and then ran off at top speed before he got a chance to respond.

:lol: That would have been perfect. Maybe had your camera ready and take picture of his facial expression as he turned towards you, then ran away.

I remember meeting the Dudleys, Maven and Rico at an Applebee's after an episode of Raw in Sacramento (the episode with The Rock's first concert, a few weeks before WM19). Luckily for me, it seemed like I was the only one that recognized them, so it was cool.
