The word going around at TV is that a new ECW Title belt will debut on tonight's show.

I like it as a new title of a WWE brand. But it being an ECW title just makes me think it should've kept the old look. Forever.

Unfortunately, WWE's titles aren't really that prestigious at the moment, so that'd really just a prop and nothing more.

It's a shame they can't do something like that to the WWE title. What happened to people saying "Triple H will change it, he wouldn't keep the Spinner belt!"?

Also, that title kinda eliminates ANYTHING that remained of the original ECW.

They did change it...the WWE logo doesn't spin now.

I think when speaking of the Diva's Championship belt, I mentioned my dislike for silver belts, but have to admit it works for the design.

Also as said before, we must face fact that this isn't the ECW we use to chant for 8 years ago...this is simply a WWE brand. The old belt was one of my favorites, but was designed for guys like Taz who only come in at 5'8. Trying to give it to guys the size of Mark Henry, Big Show, and Kane make it look like a toy.

I like it. Was never a fan of the old ECW belt.

I didn't like it at first, but it fits the mold of what the ECW brand actually is better than the previous belt, so based on that it makes sense.

I'll wait till i see the show this week before i make an official judgment on it.

At first I was like "What the fuck?" but now it looks ok. Reminds me of belts from the 80's.

Pretty nice. I'd like it better if it were the Raw or Smackdown championship, but since ECW isn't really extreme, I'm not totally against it, either.

I like it. 2nd best looking belt, right behind the WHC.

Seriously though, that's an awesome looking belt. It fits what ECW is now (the "silver medal" beneath the WWE/World Heavyweight Titles, just as the old belt with the barb wire and cracks and "I made this in photo shop" look were fitting to the old ECW's low rent feel.

Mark Henry quite sucks, however, and I can't wait for someone good to take the belt from him.
