i used to be a big Kane fan.when he was masked...he was so much cooler....he looked scarier, he brought more fright.and with the voice changed talking...he looked more "Inferno" like.. now hes just.....a plain wrestler..his inferno gimmick doesnt even go good with him....i think Kane should go back to his masked..and without the bottom cut out..and the begining of his theme should come back (the higher pitch sound before the Boom).and no im not thinking this becuz undertaker returned...i thought about this before Takers promos..now i know most ppl prolly arent Kane fans but does anybody agree with me? lol

I think he should change his catchphrase to "who's next?" and start wrestling subpar...Even for Kane...

I love Kane's character. Too bad they are so hell-bent on building him up and burying him.

I think they should kill kane off storyline wise and bring him back with a completley new gimmick...cuz he really sucks now.

I just don't know where the WWE will go with Kane from here. To me the only way to keep Kane's credibility is for his feud with the Undertaker to keep going. Even then, I don't like his chances.

Well, damnit. I like the crazy bald monster gimmick. If they play it out right and have him destroy people again it'll be awesome. With the new rosters he may be going towards a main event angle again.

Hey guys, I've just heard that after Backlash, Kane is going to be out for a while. They'll be bringing him back under a new gimmick as a veterinarian. He will then feud with the La Resistance poodle for five months before finally going over in the newly brought back Kennel of Hell match.

Damn you, Vince! You've absolutely ruined Kane. Part of the Kane mystique was the mask. Without it he looks clumsy and at a complete loss. He just doesn't know what to do in the ring. There's NOBODY who's buying him as a "BAH GAWD HIDEOUS MONSTER" Maybe they could do an angle where the real Kane is hidden away somewhere and this guy's an imposter, just to get the mask back on.

Fifi will just come back two months later with a big cowboy hat, a trenchcoat, and a really stupid gimmick. Then again, the whole Female French Poodle gimmick right now is pretty unbelievable. He should go back to his roots too, back when he was a MALE French Poodle.

The problem with Kane is that he's not the least bit unstoppable. I thought the removing of the mask was going to symbolize the unleashing of the true beast in him. Hopefully they'll eventually use him rightb and have him barrel through all competitors. Lord knows he deserves some kind of gold, he had the WWF title for one night six years ago and hasn't had it since.

I felt like they dropped the ball when they didn't push the "Kane isn't burned, but he thinks he is" angle. It was a pretty easy way out of explaining why the fx they used the night he unmasked was pretty poor, not to mention could have been taken in a good direction. I would have kept the idea that Kane snaps the second anyone mentioned his face. Kane could have also done things to make himself look uglier (easier said then done), such as red and black face paint. I thought it would have been cool if he had sorta a darth maulish, red and black face paint. To bad they went with the shane idea, destroying the build up. Perhaps a switch to smackdown will help Kane get back to ME status. :shifty:

Right on man. The WWE should either go with the goofy or stay away from it, not any of this half ass crap. Kane is an unstoppable monster, but we let Shane be his equal. Undertaker is doing all kinds of supernatural stuff, then we puss out and give him a cowboy hat not to over do it. I don't care for the goofy stuff, but if that's the direction they choose to go, run with it. Don't be a big puss. Plus just thinking of Kane all made out to be like Darth Maul gives me goosebumps.

I got more respect for Kane once i saw him live. When he walked out, there were huge 15 foot flames behind him. I was marking out so much.

wrong. Kane with his new gimmick is the best he's ever been. its just been booked horribly bad. Kane is the best thing on RAW right now. his promos are friggin' great.

Kane should have beaten the Undertaker at WM20. Kane jobbing for Undertaker was a total bitch-move by wwe. just another example of wwe catering to the nimrods who cheer for whom theyre told that they like. i mean cmon, we all realize that the "return of the deadman" was a complete and utter flop. we all know that all of taker's promos will suck, whereas Kane's have been and will continue to be among the best. and we all know that American deadman or whatever in the hell he is supposed to be now, will be out of action for at least 6 of the next 12 months, whereas Kane will be on our TVs having his character booked into the ground week in and week out.

Glad to see people in this thread appreciate Kane's mic work. IMO, he's one of the best promo guys in the company right now.

Granted, he's not great in a Kurt Angle/Paul Heyman way, but for the character he portrays, Glen Jacobs nails it. His whole "You're not real!" thing in the weeks leading up to Wrestlemania (though much of it wasn't really "promo" per se) was the best acting I've seen on WWE TV in a while...even if it was over-the-top.
