Anyone recognize this HBK storyline they're doing right now?
You know... the same one they've done for the last 4 years now. They did it with HHH, McMahon, Randy Orton and now Jericho. HBK gets in a match. Gets demolished. Injured for a few weeks. Comes back to RAW via satelite and tells us how hurt he is and how he's overcome so much. Then appears at Summerslam or WrestleMania or Survivor Series and great miracle of all miracles, he wins the match.
Same old shit for 4 years in a row. Thats your favorite wrestling show folks. Enjoy. |

What kind of angles do you want them to do with Michaels? He's been in the business for 2 fucking decades, it's not like there's a big warehouse full of story angles that he hasn't been involved with. The facts are the feud is exciting, the promos are great, the matches are consistently the best, and it's getting the best two workers on RAW together in an angle. Quit looking to bitch out one of only like 3 or 4 things that are worth a damn in the entire company right now. |
Obviously never heard how all stories stem from six base ones? Really RP you're surprised? Lawler practically lived off this storyline for most of his career in Memphis and the fans never minded too much.
If it works then go with it, if it gets people talking then go for it, and based on this post and those points I'd say it's working. |

Jericho's over as a top heel(which raw seriously lacks) on raw now, Lance Cades career is in better shape than before, even Paul London got tv time.
I don't see any problem with this storyline overall. It will be remembered as probably the feud of the year. |

From what I have seen, I do not like what they have done to the Chris Jericho character. They turned one of the greatest personalities in the history of wrestling into a one-dimensional stiff.
