No Kennel in a Cell? :nono:

Theo Dious 08-07-2008 12:01 AM

...no Bossman? :shifty:

Lots of Undertaker and Triple H though...

Cuzziebro 08-07-2008 12:36 AM

I'd buy it. Even though I have probably watched nearly all of those matches at one time or another.

U-Warrior 08-07-2008 12:40 AM

Didn't even know those RAW ones existed.

DaVe 08-07-2008 01:57 AM

Lots of Undertaker and Triple H though...

Well they have been 'involved' (e.g. either wrestled, or interferred, etc.) in every single Cell match ever. So, makes sense.

Cover looks a bit crap.

BTW mrslackalack I check silvervision website everyday and yet you seem to manage to post preorders on here before I do

I know this is a WWE DVD and everything but I would've liked to have seen WCW's version of the Hell in the Cell match as some extras or something. They had a great Scramble Cage match for the WCW Title, and Goldberg and Steiner had a good match inside of it too.

My main gripe is that I have all of these matches on VHS already. I wonder if there will be enough special commentaries to make it worth purchasing.

Loose Cannon 08-07-2008 01:13 PM

meh, not worth it to me. still waiting for Perfect's. I think Summerslam Box was released too.

Londoner 08-07-2008 01:20 PM

If i ever get the money and find out when its released here, i'll buy it. Only bad thing is there's too much Taker/HHH, why is it they're the only two that always get HITC matches???

Lord-Of-Darkness 08-07-2008 01:20 PM

Every HIAC except WM15? I didn't think it was that bad, to be the only one left out.

Lord-Of-Darkness 08-07-2008 01:21 PM

To be fair, the Brood and Taker sacrificing the Bossman after the match was the best part about it.

Londoner 08-07-2008 01:21 PM

That the one with taker v bossman? That was abit shit tbh. Should never have been HITC.

Fox 08-07-2008 04:53 PM

That could have been a normal match save the hanging bit at the end. Not "really" a hell in the cell match.

PorkSoda 08-07-2008 10:15 PM

Triple H and Undertaker........

Was there a cell match that did NOT have those two besides Mankind and Kane?

Yeah, the thing about it though is that they really couldn't have pulled off the hanging otherwise. Edge, Christian, and Gangrel were much more easily able to rappel to the top of the cage without being too conspicuous in their setup, and the whole thing was able to be much more quickly wrapped up with the cielinged HIAC structure. Of course they could always have NOT done the hanging, but then we wouldn't have one of the most wrestlecraptastic moments in modern wrestling history.

Also, to me the BEST thing about the whole affair was Cole's reaction.

"Oh my God! They're hanging the Big Bossman! NO! NO! NOOOO!!!

...

Don't forget folks, the next time we'll be on Pay Per View..."

Uh, no one notice the thumbnail under that? With the chain link fence?

DaVe 08-08-2008 03:59 AM

I think that is what Pardeep was talking about... Not in MCEazy's case, though.

Ha, every time I see this match, that really gets to me. Though Cole was actually talking about it being a Wrestlemania weekend to remember with the Rage party or something. But he did completely no-sell the hanging.:(
