I wasn't aware Kid Rock did covers. I know he samples heavily from other songs, but he tends to make up his own lyrics.

Oh, techincally that isn't a cover, that is him sampling Sweet Home Alabama and making up his own lyrics. But I agree, he does suck.

The only one I can think of is "Feel Like Makin' Love." I wouldn't say it warrants the death penalty though, maybe some community service just to set an example for any other would-be Bad Company coverers.

I would say the worst cover is the one that is currently running on JC Penny's commercials of Don't You Forget about Me by Simple Minds. That's one that is ridiculous to cover since Breakfast Club is so ubiquitous.
