Is anyone left from the Invasion?
Seriously, I can only think of Dreamer and Charles Robinson. Besides them, is anyone left from the WCW/ECW -> WWE merger?
Chavo. And is Helms still with the company?
Ya Helms is still there, just injured
So that's four.
not surprising or anything though. it's been about 7 years now. pro wrestling is definately not an area where most guys stick around for a long period of time. here today..gone today. in the AMW guy's case at least
Chuck Palumbo...although this is his second run with the company...
Taz
oh sorry, "Tazz" :shifty: |
Taz already debuted a year before
Bollocks

Helms is my new hero.

Noble maybe? Although there was a release in between
Yeah there are guys that were released and then picked back up but as far as guys who have been around since the invasion, I think we're done.
You know what would have made a better Stone Cold Invasion angle? If Stone Cold defected to WCW to prove to Eric Bischoff and that world that he was the man to lead WCW after all, and play up the whole "Eric fired me over the phone" thing, which was pretty well known at that point. Would have made a lot more sense/not made Austin look like as much of a pussy as "Vince didn't love me." I mean it didn't matter in the long run since, you know, it's Austin, but still.
that's what I thought they were gunning for, but they never really played up Austin being a part of WCW for so long
Arn Anderson
Mickie Henson?
Wasn't Noble brought in after the Invasion?

Billy Kidman is still a trainer down in FCW, even though he was released at one stage, and isn't an active on-screen wrestler. |
Wasn't Tommy released at some point too? I seem to remember him being off the Raw roster by mid-2003 or something. Then he came back for ECW ONS and then disappeared again until it became a full brand a year later

Yeah, Tommy was moved to an office position and came back with the ECW relaunch.
Well, while we're considering that, lets see who is left from the entire Invasion(In a wrestling role).
After a look at the different superstar pages I've come up with: RAW : Jericho(WWE) Palumbo(Alliance) Hardcore Holly(WWE) JBL(WWE) Kane(WWE) Val Venis(WWE) Regal(WWE) Smackdown! : Triple H(WWE, although not around at time of Invasion) Big Show(WWE) Edge(WWE) Funaki(WWE) Helms(Alliance) Jeff Hardy(WWE) Undertaker(WWE) ECW : Chavo(Alliance) Matt Hardy(WWE) Dreamer(Alliance) Not that many left overall really |
Wasn't Palumbo fired and rehired?
Yup.
of germany?

Jericho Palumbo Big Show Jeff Hardy Matt Hardy Because they were either fired or left, and were brought back later. |
When you mean "left from the Invasion", do you mean "debuted during the Invasion and still has a job with WWE"? Because then LOD's list makes little sense.
Charles Robinson is the better than anything else that was ever in WCW or ECW. That is why he is the only one still around that hasn't left or gone off tv.

Technically, Rey Mysterio came in with the merger. He was signed around the same time as Booker T and Lance Storm and the lot of them.
However, they didn't debut him until over a year later. |
According to Wikipedia, Rey signed in 2002 and actually did a stint in the XWF and CMLL before that.
Listened to a podcast interview with Rey the other day. He was still under 'WCW' contract, but was told to sit it out like a few others did. He then signed on with WWE after. He said that he did a few dates in Mexico while still being paid off on his WCW contract, which technically shouldn't have been done. Then in the following April after his contract expired WWE signed him to a 3 year deal.
