AHAHA Patriots got Perfect Season rings for there 18-1 season AHAHAHAHAHA

" Owner Robert Kraft and team president Jonathan Kraft presented the players with rings. On one side of the ring, it reads "16-0 -- perfect season." On the other, it reads "18-1, AFC Championship." In addition, a banner was made to commemorate the season, and it was unveiled at the ceremony, with Kraft pulling a rope as it came down from the ceiling. It will be displayed at Gillette Stadium, next to the team's Super Bowl banners. "I think there were two things going on from last year - and one was that it was an extraordinary year that I don't think we got to savor and enjoy," Kraft said. "We accomplished something special as a team and organization last year, under tremendous scrutiny, more scrutiny than any team has ever been under. "We went 16-0, we won 18 straight games, and then the 19th game ended so abruptly that all of us have had a sick feeling in our stomach. " How's it feel? |
LOL perfect season rings. ROFL i'm crying tears of joy.

loser rings
|
lol
|
while I agree it's a stupid idea, I'm pretty sure they confrence champion (SB loser) always gets a ring and their team usually puts up a banner.
I know a few teams in sports only put up championship banners (Celtics and Lakers are the first two that come to mind). I can see Kraft wanting to do it to congratulate them on 16-0 (which they're the only team ever to go 16-0 in the regular season and only the 2nd to have an undefeated regular season) From Belicheck I see it as more of a "here, look at this ever single week and use that as motivation". |
yeah, just did a quick google and the Confrence Champion (SB loser) always gets a ring.
so, this really isn't anything new. |
No its definitly a loser ring. You get a loser banner too. The banner should say " Crap, beat by another Manning. Atleast we went 16-0 in the regular season ! "

The reality is, EVERY team that wins a confrence championship but does not win the superbowl gets a Championship ring. While I'm not a huge fan of the idea, I can understand every team reconizing the confrence championship. |
It says 16-0 on one side. lol
Like all you Patriots say though, " all that matter is the ring " lol |
One ring to rule them all
One other ring to show that we almost got a chance to rule them all. |

I think it's stupid to have the 'perfect season' and '18-1' stuff on it. Should just be a regular AFC Championship ring like every year.
I mean, what's the difference in the the 2007 Patriots 16-0 AFC Championship to say the 2006 Bears 13-3 NFC Championship? Come on. They both got just as far. It's not about how many games you win, it's about how far you get. |

the 18-1 is stupid and I still almost wonder if Belicheck did that so they wouldn't forget how close they were. |
I don't like the idea of an AFC Championship banner, I know most teams do it but I think its stupid
Didn't know teams got rings for winning conference championships either, kinda dumb |
No different than any other league really. They all have a conference champion trophy type thing.
Putting the season record on it, dumb. |
This reminds me, off to the Giants game
|
lol faggots.
|
hahahah the colts didn't even make the super bowl
|
Yeah, not sure if I'd want a Conference Champion ring necessarily. It might be different if you are the Panthers or something, who don't do that very often, but the Patriots are expected to do better, and have other, more important rings. If Pats players weren't around when they won, better win one now.
|
Yeah, every conference champ gets a ring and a banner. While I see the irony that there is a celebration of a perfect regular season to boot, it's really not all THAT funny...
And I don't like the Pats. |
