They might aswell get recognized as being champ or its pointless.

Wasn't there something like this in a Wrestlemania from a few years ago with Crash Holly for the Hardcore Championship? I guess this isn't exactly an Adamle Original.

It isn't like the rumble(no eliminations), it isn't like an ironman match (only the last fall counts), it isn't like the hardcore thing (way less people, no title changes), It isn't like an ROH scramble match, which is kind of what it is except instead of not being able to be won untill everyone is in the match it won't be necessarily won by a single fall, also there are no tags.

Primarily associated with Ring of Honor, a Scramble tag team match has one difference from the normal rules: when a wrestler goes out of the ring either of their own volition or by being forced out, a partner can come in as a replacement without being tagged in. This format is most commonly used in either four corner tags, or with teams of more than 2. The Scramble match can also be done as a six man scramble where anyone can tag in anyone.

In that one they all started from the beginning.

So, there's a few questions:

1. How many refs? In theory 2 decisions could happen at the same time
2. If that does happen, who's the temp champ?
3. I'm pleased that all the changes won't mean that that person is recognized as champ
4. So one guy is only going to get 5 minutes in the match? Weird.
5. Good that the champ starts, adds excitement, as they will probably lose at some point

I hope for a CM Punk win (after losing it at some point in the match)

And a Hardy win on the Smackdown side, although realistically, I don't feel anyone apart from HHH can carry that ball from the guys in the match

Just takes a bit off the match for me.

Oh I'm thinking of the scramble cage match.

1, it is like the Rumble because the other three contenders will be entering on a timer and coming from the stage, and not plexiglass pods.

2, I pointed out there were no eliminations by saying "a pinfall/submission version".

3, it is like an Iron Man, because there are multiple falls/submissions possible thru out the duration of the time limit.

4, it is like the hardcore thingy, because it's a bunch of guys going for the same title in one match.

5, How do you know Punk didn't suggest this? He came from ROH and it's a damn interesting concept. Besides, this is technically a rub for ROH, because now they can say "An ROH Original: Championship Scramble!". Sure, it's nice to have crdit where it's due, but if nothing else, it gives a smaller promotion bragging rights. Unless, of course, someone who never actually watched ROH just...you know...thought of it on their own.

I'm not saying it's a bad match I look forward to it. Should be amazing.

It should be 30 minutes long. One guy in for only 5 minutes? That's stupid.

I really don't think there should be a stuttered entrance at all. But if they have to do it 2 minutes is much better, gives some guys a chance for some quick action but no one gets to much of an advantage or disadvantage.

Work it out for yourself. :)

If HHH wins this I'd like to see him destroy every wrestler that comes in in under 5 minutes.

those title wins weren't officially counted in the title history either. Hopefully they at least make an announcement whenever a pin is made "Here is the new WWE Champion...Brian Kendrick" :shifty:

WWE is TNA-ing this match.

Twice on the same PPV is overkill.

I'd prefer to have everyone start the match and for it to be 30 minutes. The end.

I could deal with that way if there were tags involved, like the 6-pack challenge. It would get cluster-fucky otherwise, especially with two on the card.

They did the same thing with the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out this year. For me it makes SmackDown! look stupid.

Raw announces a "blockbuster" match and 4 days later SD go "We're just gonna copy Raw and do the same match with different guys."

1. I can't see any reason for more than one ref. Theoretically, the same thing could happen in any Fatal 4 Way Match.
2. I guess the belt would either be declared vacant; we'd get co-champions; the match would be declared a draw between the two challengers, but seeing as no decision was reached, the title would remain where it was; the two who got the falls go into sudden death. They're all the possibilities I can think of.
3. I sort of am, too, as those changes would cheapen the championship, but I admit it would be pretty cool to get the wins of Kane and Chris Jericho.
4. That is really weird, but I can see it working. Especially for a character like The Brian Kendrick or JBL.
5. The champion starting pretty much gets rid of champion's advantage, but it's a dramatic concept. Theoretically, the champion should be in the best position to start first, as they are the highest ranked on their brand.

I'm hoping CM Punk retains his title, and that The Brian Kendrick wins the WWE Title on SmackDown! (which has no chance of happening).
