Wrestling Moments in Time #1 (Video Inside)
 

Been wanting to start this for a while. Basically, I'm just going to post a video of a wrestling moment from the past and everyone can kind of share they thoughts on the moment from back then when you saw it live and your thoughts today. I thought it would be cool to kind of go back to specific moments, rewatch them and here the thoughts of everyone here.

I will try to keep the moments from the Attitude era till today's time as that's when most have been watching.


Today's Moment:

Lex Luger Wins the WCW Title from Hollywood Hogan on Nitro.

THE GREATEST TECHNICAL MATCH OF ALL TIME!

so one of my personal favorite WCW moments. Actually watching it now still gives me chills. For me, Tony Schivonie was always great with these moments. He would call everything with such excitement and it got you excited. I remember watching it live and going nuts when Luger gave the signal for The Rack and watching the nWo guys making sure they weren't going to get up and interfere.

Then I will never forget Randy Anderson's reaction when Hogan gave up. It was so real and it was the same reaction you had watching it back home.

The Title Reign only lasted a week as Hogan regained it at the PPV, but definately one of the most exciting Title matches ever on TV.

Huge. Awesome. WCW used to be unreal.

lol, this is the clip where Luger punks out Dean Malenko (2:25). Apparently one hold Malenko doesn't know is the "Get High-Fived by Luger."

<font color=goldenrod>I wasn't watching wrestling yet at this point, but its still awesome to see. I love how the whole thing follows the rules too...nobody on the nWo touched Luger so the match got to continue. Nowadays you have people getting DQ'ed for the stupidest shit.</font>
