nWo theme
Is it actually from a porn (minus the Hendrix sounds and OHHHHHH yeah's -or maybe with different OHHHHHH yeah's of its own...)?
|
I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out it's production and has been used in one. It sounds fairly generic but it actually worked. One of my favorite themes ever. :y:

Do you remember if the nWo theme always had all the Hendrix sounds in it or those came in over time?
|
Yeah, I've heard Cactus' in a porno. Some busty redheaded woman on a rug playing with a dildo while its going on in the back.

nWo's theme ("Rockhouse") is definitely a production. I forgot which library it's from, but it's one that WWE no longer has access to. WWE pays a solid (and hefty, at least to us) monthly fee for unlimited access to a certain number of production libraries, and "Rockhouse"'s library is not in that list apparently. (The reason why they could still use Booker T's was because it happened to belong to a library that WWE had access to, Kosinus Music.)

Could WWE, if they so chose to, buy the rights to use a production theme as they see fit (though not necessarily "own" it outright)? Or is it a rent-as-you-go type of deal? Or possibly just too expensive?
