I love Scott Stapp
 

This morning I turned on the radio and this was playing:

I am now outing undying passion for Creed. I'm not sure if this was something that was always there, or just took time to develop over a decade or so after they faded from the public eye, but I now officially love Creed. I never thought this would happen. Back in the day I hated them with the most unyielding of passions, but I can't change how I feel now. I think it is for the wrong reason, like the reason I love Firehouse or Skid Row, but whatever. Creed is awesome. Has this happened to you (not just with Creed, but any band?)

In five years I will probably like the following: Nickelback, Korn, the entire emo genre.

Not gonna lie. When I was in Jr. High, I thought they were the best band ever.

creed is fucking terrible and always will be

the only band that i ever hated and then loved is motley crue. and the only reason i hated them is because i had never listened to them and just assumed they were as shitty as any other hair metal band. little did i realize they are the epitome.

I liked Creed's Guitar work. Always did. Then I started getting sick of Stapp's pseudo-Christian lyrical content.

Same reason why I hate Flyleaf. That, and the crack whore front woman who can't sing.

Yeah, I've always liked Mark Tremonti (the guitarist) because he actually has some semblance of talent. By no means the greatest guitarist ever, but I enjoy listening to him play, whether in Creed or Alter Bridge.

Scott Stapp can pretty much just die though.. pretty glad his career went to complete shit after Creed.

Yeah pretty much. It is the original Creed, before their bassist left. I am not a fan of Alter Bridge's singer at all though because he has a weak voice that isn't consistent and sounds like absolute shit though.

Still a Tremonti fan though.
