Just a little appreciation of The Quintessential Stud Muffin. Besides the stupid "begging for a job" promo he did at the original One Night Stand I still think he's one of if not the best mike man in the business. |
Great indeed.
Best mic man in the business? Get the fuck out of here dude.
I think Rob is looking for a source.
He was amazing but there is a difference between doing shtick and cutting a wrestling promo.
Gertner was great at cutting promo's. His pulp fiction stuff was great, but he'll always be remembered for stealing my name.

I thought this thread was gonna be about Mister Belding.

lol @ KK.
<3 Gertner. Miss some of this old shit. Fantastic times. Just look at the shit they could get away with. Now sux. |
I saw him a couple of years ago outside of the Hammerstein Ballroom waiting to go in for One Night Stand. He lost a ton of weight
He was awesome.

rofl @ the little kid in the front row at Living Dangerously around the 8:00 mark, probably not understanding any of it :o
HE was great at warming up the crowd before a show, and it really helped the rest of the night.
Get Gertner back on my TV now. I don't know why he isn't there.
