Twin Snakes
 

I've just bought a gamecube for £10, and I've been picking up cheap games from amazon and ebay for a few pounds a piece. My biggest problem being that while remembering games I used to have/like when I had a Gamecube back in the day(such as Super Smash Bros, DoR2 etc, which are going for about £10 a piece) I remembered Twin Snakes, the remake of MGS, with MGS2s graphics and gameplay.

The problem I'm having is I can't seem to find the game for any less than £40, which is pretty high for such an old game. Is there any reason why this game seems to be so much more expensive than any other GC game?

Because it is amazing. I had it when it came out. I think it's expensive right now because of MGS4 hype maybe?

Maybe. Just seems a bit drastic compared to the £10 price limit of every other cube game on amazon and ebay.

Because it's a hard game to come by, as well as how alot of Gamecube fans want it.

Yeah, it's awesome and had a limited print run. You'll likely see that price go up as collectors start buying up Cube stuff.

I think I got lucky and found my copy second hand - it clearly didn't get a very big production run.

I got lucky because I got the game when it came out :p

I picked up a copy from a pawn shop for $5.

Im a huge fan of Metal Gear but this one was my favorite. Dont get me wrong.....My problem isnt with the game itself but with my lack of ability to want to learn a new control scheme. I loved the PS controls so much that it was just frustrating for me to try to learn a new control scheme.
