Pretty emphatic nay actually.

D Mac 09-01-2008 10:48 PM

Yay

thedamndest 09-01-2008 11:06 PM

Other than Cable Guy, nay.

Juan 09-01-2008 11:27 PM

Heavyweights :y:
The Cable Guy :y:
Happy Gilmore :y:
There's Something About Mary :y:
Mystery Men :y:
Meet the Parents :y:
The Royal Tenenbaums :y:
Zoolander :y:
Dodgeball :y:
Envy :y:
Starsky & Hutch :y:
Along Came Polly :y:

YAY

Vastardikai 09-01-2008 11:53 PM

Ben Stiller is only as good as his writers.

Tropic Thunder wasn't bad, but Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr. carried it.

Bad Company 09-02-2008 12:06 AM

Yay

D Mac 09-02-2008 12:15 AM

Ben Stiller wasn't in the Cable Guy. That was Jim Carrey.

DS 09-02-2008 12:47 AM

He was in The Cable Guy. Not the main character, but he was in it.

In fact, he directed it.

thedamndest 09-02-2008 01:06 AM

Wow, I forgot about Heavyweights. I will count that too.

Gonzo 09-02-2008 01:27 AM

It could go either way depending on the movie. Honestly, a lot of comedians are like this. I can say that with most comedians today I enjoy some movies, but a lot of their comedy doesn't evolve over time and it gets stale. When someone is fresh is when I usually can enjoy them the most. After that, :n:

Lock Jaw 09-02-2008 01:42 AM

Yay. Certainly, his movies aren't pieces of cinematic history or anything, but I am always entertained by him.

Xerzes 09-02-2008 01:49 AM

Same performance in every movie. Once you've seen one or two, you've seen all he has to offer. Nay

Ninti the Mad 09-02-2008 02:02 AM

yay

What scene was he in? I remember Owen Wilson in it but not Ben.

thedamndest 09-02-2008 02:19 PM

He plays the twin brothers/former child actors. One murdered the other and is on trial for it and it's the Trial of the Century. Everyone in America/the world is watching it and when Jim Carrey lands on the satellite it interrupts the broadcast right before the verdict.

Penner 09-02-2008 02:27 PM

Ben Stiller is YAY in everything.

Does anyone remember when he was on Friends? hahahaha

"Tell me it's Ice Coffee Ross."

That was really just a cameo. He basically just sat there.

Sepholio 09-03-2008 03:42 PM

I'm sorry but after watching Zoolander I will never look at Ben Stiller the same again. Huge nay.

D Mac 09-03-2008 04:23 PM

I liked Zoolander.

"They're Breakdance fighting."

I was giving him more credit for directing the movie than just sitting at a table.

Savio 09-03-2008 05:33 PM

I think he has more bad then good

Mooияakeя™ 09-11-2008 07:48 PM

Based on Zoolander, fuck yes. But I think this has more to do with Will Ferrell being opposite more than anything.

Stickman 09-11-2008 07:51 PM
