Who woud you say are the top 5 fighters in the Nhl right now?
 

I'm a HUGE hockey fight fan and I constantly have this debate with people.

1. Derek Boogaard- His ability to switch hands is amazing. I'd hate to be a guy who tangles with him. Has a knockout over McGratten.

2. Eric Godard- The only guy I've seen man handle Boog's. People tend to put Laraque in this spot, but Laraque throws 2 punches and wrestles the guy.

3. George Laraque- Still has it at his age. His strength is amazing.

4. Brian McGratten- Love his reach. Very tough. Not in the league of Boog's Godard and LAraque though

5. tie Colton Orr/Wade Belak-Belak Scored a victory over Orr, draw with Laraque, win over Parros, Koci. Orr punches extremely hard, beat Belak, Cote, McGratten.

Brahsear IMO has seen better days.

I love NHL "middleweight" fighters. Guys like Brad May who don't necessarily dominate who they fight but will fight anybody no matter how big.

Riley Cote is currently my fav middleweight fighter. His fight with Shawn Thornton was IMO the fight of the year.

Ryan Kessler vs Jerome Iginla was balls

Best punch of the year has to go to Chara vs punching bag David Koci.

Any time a great player kicks the crap out of somebody I love it. Iginla, Lacavillier, Joe Thorton, Wayne Gretzky :P

Crosby didn't look too bad against Andrew Ference this year.

Andrew Ference is the biggest pussy in the league though.
