Am I the only one...
That doesn't think losing a match cleanly (given it isn't a squash match) makes the guy look weak. Granted as long as he doesn't get on a huge losing streak.

Sure. Wrestlers can lose and still look strong. But unfortunately, lately, most losses like that wind up being elaborate squashes.

On the flip side, it's possible for someone to win a match and still look weak.

I believe so, it takes really shitty booking and a bad match, but it is possible. Like if someone like Batista won a match against say Snitski, where Snitski is controlling the match, and Bats wins on a techincallity or with a weak roll up or something like that.

I believe it is more of how the match is booked and who is in the match than the actaul who wins or loses.

T think it depends who he is fighting. Like if Funaki were to go over Carlito cleanly in a competitve match I think it would.

Win looks better than a lose, but how they get to the outcome is jsut as important.
