Alex Wright/ Berlyn Yay or Nay?

Soo, what did you think of Alex Wright/ Berlyn? I liked Wright as the dancer gimmick, few people can say they had HHH job to them. The Berlyn gimmick isnt a bad idea, a german man who hates America and refuses to speak the language. Maybe it was a wrong time, wrong person to play that gimmick. I remember both Duggan and Bagwell no selling him in there matches and the gimmick shortly dropped after that. He was good as the partner of and dance rival of Disco Inferno. I'd say Alex Wright mid card dancer Yay, Berlyn Meh.

Alex Wright is definitely one of my fav. WCW guys ever. Fucking awesome. Didn't really dig Berlyn though.

Yay to Alex. Nay to Berlyn. It was an okay idea, but as you pointed out, executed poorly.

Alex Wright as the dancer was good stuff, especially when Disco Inferno was around. As a Nazi though, not so great.

I liked the Berlyn character. The chick who didn't speak German and who couldn't act and was acting as a translator for him just about killed him on the first night in.

This was another chick was a worse national TV promo than that Shelly Martinez backyard thing.

If Vince McMahon had this gimmick and idea at the time, he would have been main eventing.

Yay as Alex. His dance was stupid, but really caught on. Everything with him and Disco Inferno was something to watch. He really wasn't that bad of a wrestler either. I recall a few matches with him and Jericho.

I never liked his Nazi gimmic. I was just...blah.
