When you hear "Where is My Mind" By the Pixies...
Do you expect them to start singing a Janis Joplin tune? "A piece of my heart" or whatsit.
Similarly, when I hear "Boys of Summer," I expect to hear "If I could only reach you, if I could make you smile, if I could only reach you, that would really be a Breakthru!" songs that sound similar? post 'em here. |

When I heard All My lovin' By Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, I wait for it to turn into a lostprophets song. The intros are almost identical. (Although MF&TGG is a superior song) |
There's part of "Black Star" by Radiohead that sounds like it's goind to jump into one of the Bond themes... "All Time High" from Octopussy, but I can't remember who sang it.
