It's hard to make the graphics better really, but I'll be getting it.

Hopefully the online will be better this year.

Much as i love the Pro Evo games i'll be renting it first this year as the last version or two haven't really been all that great.

Still miles ahead of Fifa though.

FIFA was miles better than Pro Evo last year, and this years FIFA is shaping up to be even better.

I played Euro 2008 quite a bit. It was fun in that captain mode where you and 3 other players compete to get the captancy for England. The actual game blew compared to Pro Evo though.

Liverpool and Man Utd the licenced teams this year? Sucks. It was actually quite fun playing as shite teams like Spurs and Newcastle. Would have been cool to play as more shite teams like Sunderland.

A data patch always comes out pretty quickly, nor is that difficult to just edit the team names anyway.

It's not quite the same though, I have edited it all myself up to the current date. Great sense of achievment when I wrote 'Boyle Sports' on the Sunderland kits.

The data patches usually have fully editted kits and sponsors.

And how do I get one onto my trusty old PS2?

I've not used one but from what I remember you buy it and it loads the data onto a memory card for you

I would always get it passed along from someone else so I'm not exactly sure how to get it initially, but it involves downloading an option file from the internet using some sort of device that connects to a PS2 as well then replacing your Pro E option file with that one.

Usually comes with all players and secrets unlocked too.

Yeah, I used to DL the proper kits / teams etc for the PS2. You can find some really good work out there.

Now I'm 360 there don't seem to be many / any around!?

Something to do with the save format makes it hard or impossible apparently.

Not too bothered, with the 360 Webcam, I can take pictures of sponsors or badges to put them in the game.

I know Pro Evo only get a part licence for the Premier League but what are the details around it and why only two teams and not...ten?

They don't even get a part license, they have to license teams individually. As to why not more, I would presume money.

Hopefully, when that deal runs out, PES can grab the license though like they did with the Champions League :D

So if PES has the Champions League licence, does that not mean they can everyone in the Champions League meaning the English clubs as well or is only name rights of the CL or are the English clubs exempt or something?

Played the FIFA 09 demo yesterday. First time it froze my 360 :|, second time it was shite. Nothing's changed.

Is it right that FIFA is going to cost £20 more than PES?
