Should I go see 2001: A Space Odyssey?
 

I have never seen it before and it is playing this Thursday at the local movie house for $5.

it's not that it's boring... I do want to see the ending, I just can't make it past this one part. Same with Fargo... It's like a lullaby for me.

If Fargo puts you to sleep, you will 100% fall asleep during 2001. It is really really drawn out and there are a lot of empty parts and white noise in the movie. It is good though. Seeing it in a movie theater would be way better than on DVD.

Yeah bro. You def should see it. I would love to see it in theaters, it is classic. Also weird movie in general. Like never seen anything else like it. Also hippies in the late 60s would take tons of acid and watch it. I dunno about all that though, it is too long. :mad:

If you're gonna see it, you need to see it in the theatre. I have a huge TV and Surround sound, so it's nice to see on that. But would be amazing in the theatre.
