Ric Flair and Tag Teams (Spoiler)
I never heard or read anywhere that Ric Flair was tag team champion with anyone at any point in his career. Is this title run with Batista, his 1st?
Ric Flair 1 Tag Team Title w/ Batista Hulk Hogan 1 Tag Team Title w/ Edge Thats so strange. |
I think he's actually held it twice in the NWA
|
I thought he had it sometime during one of his Four Horseman stints, but I'm really unsure about that.
|
I think hogan and savage were tag champs in the eighties . Mega Powers whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
|
Mega Powers never won the tag titles.
But I don't remember Ric Flair ever holding the Tag Team titles. You would think he did during the Horseman era, you know, maybe with Arn Anderson or Ole or even Tully Blanchard. But i really doubt he has |
<font color="#ccffcc">
ric flair held the tag title twice with greg valentine and once with blackjack mulligan, pre horesman days. </font> |
It's not really that strange if you think about it.
For most of their careers, these guys have been main-event players. There was no rush to put tag straps on them when they were doing fine on their own,and singles titles were their bag (as big draws). |

Ric Flair tag title info
NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship (3 times)—with Rip Hawk (1), Greg Valentine (1) and Big John Studd (1) NWA World Tag Team Championship (Mid-Atlantic version) (3 times)—with Greg Valentine (2) and Blackjack Mulligan (1) |
And a run with Roddy Piper.
|
Glad this Q has finally been A'd after all this time.
|
I thought TNA was gonna be stupid and let Flair win the Tag titles at the impact tapings..hence the spoiler part lol
|
Hey, it's a spoiler for those that didn't know that Flair won the Tag Titles back in 2003/4.
|
Seth82 pulling a DLVH-like stunt. Bumped a thread by someone who doesn't post here anymore, from nearly a decade ago, to stroke his own ego and prove he has useless knowledge of bygone years that anyone with Google can check out.
