I'm just waiting for WWE to start showing goofy vignette of Edge escaping hell, meeting demons along the way, maybe a run-in with the Boogeyman, before finally finding a trap door with "ESCAPE HEAR" written in crayon, finding himself entering the middle of the ring, right in the middle of a match.

I'd like to see him come back after a few weeks of a Big Show/Umaga alliance taking out Undertaker for Vickie. Then, Edge could come back not to save Taker, but to remove Vickie, Show, and Umaga from the top spot on SmackDown, which would result in a loose alliance with Taker & Edge.

Maybe at Survivor Series we get Taker/Edge vs. Big Show/Umaga?

I could definitely see an Edge face turn coming out of all this. The man has been a heel for some long. That being said, I have to think that part of the reason they've kept Edge away so long is so people forget about how intense and awesome he was before he left, so the fans don't cheer him.

if edge comes back i think a lot of people will cheer especially if he has somekind of alliance with the undertaker. if he is back before armageddon i know i'll have my rated-r shirt ready.

i have heard that he will be back for survivor series though

To be honest, I hope they wait as long as it takes to make it an epic moment. It's been a couple months now, so if he just comes back one week it feels like a waste.

Survivor Series would normally be good, but Cena's coming back and that'd overshadow it.

I'd rather see him return at the Rumble and steal a win, to set up a HHH/Edge title fued
