From this full year? I might just go recent.
YES to Underoath. Have you heard the Avenged self titled? I have no idea how *new* it is, but I've gotten into it recently and I like it. I heard the one new song by Trivium and it sounds pretty decent. The ones you said I'm definitely checking out, plus I want to hear: New: Unearth Metallica (I guess, I'm not a huge Metallica fan, but I did like the first three songs of the album) Slipknot When I get home I'll search by 2008 or something. |

Michael Franti--All Rebel Rockers Catie Curtis--Sweet Life Iced Earth--The Crucible of Man Dar Williams--Promised Land Ra--Black Sun All of which I've been at least pleased with. Dar's new one is amazing. Also, I'll mention VIII by the Stone Coyotes, because I wouldn't be me if I didn't. ;) |
i'm not going to compile a list but i will say that i am really really looking forward to the appleseed cast's new release. just not happy i have to wait until FEBRUARY for it to come out.

It's Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Doll's "solo" CD. Ben Folds does a lot of work on it too, and helped produce it. Good shit. |
