No murderers

Theo Dious 10-03-2008 04:23 PM

Honestly, the only IC tile matches of any serious value that Benoit was in that I can were the Euro-coninental match with Jericho and Angle, and the ladder match from Royal Rumble whateveritwas, and since I have those anyway, then meh.

What's the point of putting the WMX Ladder Match on this but not the Ladder Match DVD?

I liked having the lesser-known of the two on the Ladder Match DVD, just out of having seen it less. I'm glad we'll be getting this one on this disc though.

I agree. In fact I always thought the SummerSlam match was slightly better. But even though I already have it on DVD (twice) it made no sense to leave it off considering it's the most important ladder match in history.

Anyway, pretty good DVD. Looks better than the WWE Championship History in terms of match quality. Just hope they add a little more depth to it than they did for the WWE Championship DVD.

EXCELLENT

Well put, Tb1.

I am so creaming for these.

The HHH vs Rock match was an overly long complete bore. I think both were nursing injuries at the time too.

Their ladder match the following month was much better.

Loose Cannon 10-04-2008 08:21 PM

That ladder match is my favorite ladder match of all-time. It had so much emotion in it

Tazz Dan 10-04-2008 11:11 PM

This seriously looks pretty hot. :y:

Blue Demon 10-04-2008 11:27 PM

Looks pretty good to me as well. I guess it's hard to keep everyone completely satisfied.

El Fangel 10-05-2008 12:28 AM

Only one match I wanted, and its not on there.

The Ineffable One vs Jericho - Ladder Match at the Rumble

Buy the fucking Royal Rumble Anthology with that on it then, you lazy bastard.

Evolution 10-06-2008 07:08 PM

Where was "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs Owen Hart from SummerSlam 1997? Maybe the ending spoils it a little, but there was a legitimate reason after all.
