Quantum Leap was a great show.

Been watching episodes thru Netflix. One of a kind show.

The one where Sam's a monkey is hilarious.

yes. watched them all in a particularly grim period of my life. the intro music made me cry for some reason. every time. not the theme, the bit before it. kinda tapered off and got a bit dull towards the end though :'(

Great show.

"Oh boy."

El Vaquero de Infierno 10-12-2008 06:41 PM

Yeah, but it had a naff series finale. They could of ended it far better than they did.

Destor 10-12-2008 06:50 PM

Not that I'm disagreeing nut one episode doesn't ruin a show.

D Mac 10-12-2008 06:55 PM

Yeah Sam never made it home. :(

Boondock Saint 10-12-2008 07:33 PM

The finale is friggin heartbreaking.

One of my favorite shows ever. Reminds me, I still have to buy the last two seasons.

I miss this show, I haven't seen it in years.

I always remembered the ending and feeling ohso sad for Sam, especially after "God" said he would.

I do remember many many months ago hearing about the Quantum Leap movie, but didnt actually see if it was out yet or not.

D Mac 10-12-2008 11:51 PM

It never came to pass.

I was thinking about it today at work.

Sam's been a black man, a woman, an indian, a mexican, Dr. Ruth, a vampire, a retarded kid, Lee Harvey Oswald, and a monkey.

Not their fault:

The final episode was in fact intended to be an end-of-season cliffhanger, but after the series was not renewed by the network, it was re-edited to function as the series finale. This may account for some of its ambiguous nature.

Excellent show, anyway :'(

They were actually planning a series that spun off from Quantum Leap, where Sam's daughter was looking for him or some such. The "movie" was intended to be a pilot.

A heart warming show about a woman undermining God's will.
