What the hell is wrong with my cursor?
 

K, so whenever I am typing something, every 2 minutes my cursor jumps back to wherever my mouse cursor is. And it's pissing me off. HELP

Have you got a Logitech mouse? Mine did that for ages and I couldn't work out why and it was a software "feature" for people too lazy to click into a document.

Have a look at your mouse software and see if there's anything like that enabled.

Yes, I do have a logitech.

Is it the pointer shadow option?

Not on mine, I don't have that option. Mine was "Smart Move" that did it.

I don't see that anywhere. I'm looking in the mouse section under control panel. Then again, it hasn't happened since I clicked off pointer shadow, so they may be the same thing.

It has nothing to do with the shadow.

What Hasney is referring to only applies if you have the Logitech software installed. If you do, check in that. If not, I don't know what to tell you.

Yeah, no installation required just plug in the sensor. But that is about the time it started doing this.

Maybe in the Control Panel --> Mouse, go to Pointer Options and see if "Snap To" is turned on?
