Sony BDP S300 Blu-ray player
 

I bought the Incredible Hulk Blu-ray and it loads up ok but as soon as i press play it resets the player, Ive tried looking for a firmware update on the sony Europe site but it wont download!!!
can anyone link me to another download or give me any help?

Does it play other discs? If you bought the disc, return it for another one. Why would you download a firmware for your freaking blu ray player if one disc doesn't work.

ive just never upgraded it and i thought it was time

got a replacement disk and it stops at the same place???

BD and HD DVD discs have often required updates to work. It's not unreasonable to think a brand new movie might have playback options because of outdated firmware.

Anyway, I don't have the answer on this one. Just saying, updates make sense in this new world, sans red book standards.
