So here we go with another match that coulda finally put Tazz over in the WWE... but he lost :nono:. So how do you feel about the Tazmaniac anyways? The man was one of the biggest draw in the original ECW. He was one of those first guys to use that low center of gravity, and strong upper body to just toss people. He was pretty good initially in WWE as a solid wrestler and had some great hardcore matches with Hardcore Holly and Raven. But he just never really got a shot to be as great as he was in ECW. He had that match with Stone Cold where he coulda got over, and he lost. He had that rematch with Angle that never beat him, and he lost. This Champion Vs Champion match where he coulda been Triple H, but he lost. Maybe because he was such a big draw in ECW, Vince didnt want him to be huge in the WWE. I always liked Tazz and I would love to see him step back in the ring a little more but I will say YAY ECW Tazz, Yay/Meh combo to his WWE wrestling/comentator days. |
He's in the BWHoF, this doesn't need to be asked, TPWW has already spoken.

Tazz has a small package, but other than that he gets a huge ass yay. He's a pretty awesome commentator too. I'm surprised he's lasted this long as a commentator. Everyone new seems to come and go.
|
Tazz also had an amazing theme when he debuted in WWE.
|
If you vote "Nay" or "Meh" in this thread, then Al Queda has won.
|
Why Tazz was never a bigger star is one of those great mysteries of the WWF. I suppose that with the buyout, the InVasion and Austin and Rock's last runs, he was simply buried in the shuffle. Terrible shame though since he was such a great worker and intense as hell.

Well, WWE did strip him of all his suplexs, and turned him from a bad ass to a "thug"
|
T-Bone Tazzplex through a table in the corner. Nuff said.

Verily.

*marks out for the above shown Tazmission Tazplex.*

Yay as a wrestler, meh as a commentator.
|
They are different people.

<font color=goldenrod>Huge YAY</font>
|
Yay.
His elimination from the 2001 Royal Rumble in mere seconds was a goddam disgrace. I remember about fifty online 'Save Taz' petitions circling round after that |
Paranoid Rattlesnake is an asshole.

Marked out for Juan's video, but it made me realize how much I miss Bam Bam Bigelow. What other near-400-pounder would have been able to (let alone willing to) take some of those bumps.
