Apropos of nothing, a FM2008 database using 91/92 players. Stats have been edited so that the players who became great do actually become great. Ogen you might be interested in this, Dean Saunders, Dalian Atkinson, Paul McGrath et al

(I haven't used it myself but see the thread for reactions, comments etc). I will get round to it eventually - Bully  )

Does it include Division Two? Skippy, Sticks, PHIL GEE!

EDIT, according to the thread, it's 1992/93. All of the above plus Philpott, Thompson and Agnew.

I'm not sure about the lower leagues, they might be intact they might be randoms :$

But you could still take on Leicester and sign Henry etc :)

Just downloaded this, will check it out in a minute. As every year though I won't play it properly 'til the full game is released in a few weeks

I'll just wait for the new game.

I'm getting used to the 3D match engine, but it lacks animations, and anyone who's a fan of the old style 2D match engine will find it illegible if they play in a window.

Pre-match press conferences are a mixed bag. It's nice to talk about things other than "Will we win the next game?" but sometimes I'd just rather click "Yes we will" like in past FMs. TV view makes it too much of a pain to get to advice from your assistant. Other than that, it's just Football Manager. Buy it, watch it take up your time.

Some people on FoxesTalk have complained that the Steam version is unresponsive. I've had no problems, but my PC is awesome. However, the boxed version is cheaper anyway.

Is there a way to start the matches in the 2D mode because it seems that my computer crashes everytime I start a game in the new 3D mode.
