Better Tag Team #8

The Headbangers have gone two for two on Sunny's teams. Can they hit the trifecta?

3 Day Vote

Loose Cannon 11-03-2008 12:45 PM

Headbangers again, but they better go up against a good team for the next one.

Gertner 11-03-2008 12:47 PM

Headbangers. I HATED the Smoking Gunns.

thedamndest 11-03-2008 12:51 PM

Yeah, when they got there big first push it was terrible. But they made up for it with the Sunny thing and because I hate the Headbangers and I want to kill the monster I have created.

BigDaddyCool 11-03-2008 01:14 PM

Headbangers, they have a special place in my heart. Plus this is a good way to piss of ToVo.

DaveBrawl 11-03-2008 01:17 PM

Was actually a fan of the Gunns back in the day. I was like 5 though so take that for what it's worth.

BigDaddyCool 11-03-2008 02:24 PM

If the headbangers win this one, can we put them up against The Acolytes?

BigDaddyCool 11-03-2008 02:28 PM

You know what, if the Gunns win, lets but them up against the APA anyhow.

Ruien 11-03-2008 03:03 PM

The Smoking Gunns were nothing special.

Ben Rodrigues 11-03-2008 03:07 PM

If your going for that time period, put the Headbangers up against Owen and Bulldog.

thedamndest 11-03-2008 03:11 PM

Are you people voting against the Gunns seeing where that picture of Texas is on Sunny? Seriously.

BigDaddyCool 11-03-2008 03:18 PM

It is on her hip, what is your point?

thedamndest 11-03-2008 03:20 PM

I'd like to take a ride into the El Paso Sunny.

thedamndest 11-03-2008 07:59 PM

Pretty awesome how Bob Holly and the 1-2-3 Kid went all the way in the tag team tournament, defeating Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka at the 1995 Royal Rumble and capturing the gold. They were filling in for the Gunns when one Gunn got injured and then the next night on Raw the Gunns got their shot and took the titles. Yeah, that push would have been much more effective if the Gunns had actually been in the tournament and accomplished something instead of, you know, beating the guys they got to fill in and do the work for them and who just had a match the night before.

thedamndest 11-03-2008 07:59 PM

But still vote for the Gunns. Sunny is hot.

Jeritron 11-03-2008 08:05 PM

TexAss

thedamndest 11-03-2008 08:11 PM

I'll bet she smoked their gunns.

Blue Demon 11-03-2008 08:14 PM

Headbangers

Jeritron 11-03-2008 08:27 PM

Stroking Bunns.

Tazz Dan 11-03-2008 08:48 PM

Head Bangers. They were the tits back in the day :y:

thedamndest 11-03-2008 08:52 PM

They probably rode her Happy Trail.

Triple Naitch 11-03-2008 08:57 PM

I remember thinking as a kid that everytime Sunny switched tag teams it automatically meant that Sunny was actually dating the tag team. I would imagine her just being gang banged by the Godwins and Bodydonnas and Gunns. God damn was I a fucked up little kid.

Oh and The Smoking Gunns get my vote

The Genius 11-03-2008 10:50 PM

damndest what happened with the heavenly bodies? was never entertained with the smoking gunns so had to vote headbangers.

thedamndest 11-03-2008 10:57 PM

The Heavenly Bodies were reconsidered to complete the Sunny Train because it felt naughty.

Afterlife 11-04-2008 09:07 AM

Billy and Bart. They had...y'know...names.

thedamndest 11-04-2008 04:01 PM

When I was a kid I was a big Bart Gunn mark because he had the same name as Bart Simpson.

I loved the Headbangers, but I was there live when the Smoking Gunns broke up on an episode of Superstars, so I voted for them. They were facing The New Rockers, Leif Cassidy (Al Snow) and Marty Jannetty and Billy walked off instead of accepting a tag.

They taped four weeks worth of superstars that night (I was there from about 7 PM to 1 AM) and it was one of the best nights of my young life. I was in the front row. This was the same night I touched Owen Hart's arm and he pointed directly in my face and shouted "DON'T TOUCH ME! I'M A KING!". Then Jim Neidhart came up and laughed right in my face. It was epic.

I believe Shawn Michaels defeated Salvatore Sincere this night as well, and it MAY have even been the same night they taped Steve Austin snapping Brian Pillman's ankle by jumping off the second rope onto a steel chair. Dunno for sure if that was the same night, but I know I was at both of them, and it was amazing and I have nothing but the fondest memories of it.

So yeah, Smoking Gunns.

So dose that mean that were gonna have the New Rockers up there as the next challenge? :shifty:

thedamndest 11-04-2008 08:42 PM

While you were at Superstars did you have any IcoPro?

Anybody Thrilla 11-04-2008 08:45 PM

The New Rockers would be fantastic challengers.

Also, I didn't have any Ico Pro, but I walked away with a replica Heavyweight championship belt and a pair of Bret Hart sunglasses (purchased, not received from The Hitman, unfortunately).

Gertner 11-04-2008 08:45 PM

I'm more interested in this voting than the U.S election.

Anybody Thrilla 11-04-2008 08:46 PM

I'm with Gertner on this one, and I work in politics.

thedamndest 11-04-2008 08:49 PM

Too bad Sunny is out of teams. I want the pain train to continue.

Theo Dious 11-05-2008 08:20 AM

I ain't voting for no cowboys.
