Boston Legal

I've been catching the reruns of this on ION (Network that seems to be all syndicated shows and infomericals). I haven't caught any of the newer eps, of which I've been told there are, but I forgot how fucking immense this show is.

I seem to recall Avenger was a fan (Hence the Shatner as Denny Crane avatar), but anyone else? I love how Spader and Shatner play off each other.

Yeah I definitely enjoyed it when I caught it, nice to see James Spader in a role which doesn't involve the pursuit of deviant sexual gratification as its over-riding arch.

Is it also by the guy who did Ally McBeal and every other Boston based legal drama?

Aside from Stargate I have literally only seen James Spader in those kinds of roles

I know, and Boston Legal he is is in pursuit of deviant sexual gratification with everyone woman on the show that Shatner isn't currently hitting.
