- I have been told that Armando Estrada and Deuce are the next two workers that will be cut by World Wrestling Entertainment. It is unknown at this point if their releases have been finalized; however, expect an official announcement from WWE shortly

And of course they probably got it from PWInsider or the Observer. So take it for what it's worth, but it wouldn't be a surprise.

TNA needs to bring someone in as hailing from Future Endeavors.

BigDaddyCool 11-13-2008 03:42 PM

Meh.

Loose Cannon 11-13-2008 04:39 PM

THE Armando guy was Umaga's manager, right?

Hanso Amore 11-13-2008 04:43 PM

Yup, and was ECW General Manager.

Fuck that. They need a stable called that.

Not surprising at all. Pretty obvious Armando wasn't going anywhere once he lost his position as ECW GM.

Must have sucked for Deuce. DnD are broken up with the intention of moving Deuce to Raw and giving him his adoptive dad's old gimmick and a sizable push. Instead, he shows up months later still in his old gimmick and they don't even bother bringing up his heritage or putting him in Priceless. :o

Domino was the better of the two anyway.

That is so not true! He had that match with Braden Walker!!!

Dorkchop 11-14-2008 12:07 AM

I thought Deuce was released a while ago. This isn't surprising. I think WWE should at least give guys a chance before they release them.

Afterlife 11-14-2008 01:25 AM

Deuce is another confusing release. No sense whatsoever.

Mr. Nerfect 11-15-2008 01:48 AM

Never been a big fan of Deuce. I wish the WWE had actually done a proper feud between him and Domino, though. Armando Estrada was very cool, but I can understand why the company is cutting him. I'm thinking that Ryan Braddock, Gavin Spears, Hardcore Holly, Maryse and maybe even Val Venis will be next.

Venis will never leave the company, nor will Holly. Like, seriously. I think they'd cut every Diva on SmackDown and half of the refs before Holly or Venis would get cut. Yea, Venis has been dead weight on screen for a while (does this guy work backstage or something?) and Holly had his deal with CAWdy, but if WWE wanted to them they would have gotten the axe years ago.

Normally I'd agree with you. Venis is one of those guys that is brought up everytime there is a slew of releases, but he has a good rapport with the company. That being said, with Stevie Richards, Nunzio and Scotty 2 Hotty all getting the chop, Venis not getting any younger, and him being injured quite a bit, it wouldn't surprise me.

Holly was rumoured recently, and Rob himself said it was a good possibility. He wasn't deemed "up-to-scratch" to feud with Rhodes after DiBiase was brought in, despite it being a ready-made feud. They might just let him sit-out his contract.

AKin3D 11-15-2008 07:17 PM

Isn't Val a road agent?

I don't think so. Finlay and Jamie Noble are, I believe. It wouldn't surprise me if Val became one, but I can see his in-ring career ending when he does.

CSL 11-16-2008 02:49 AM

Think they wasted Estrada. Coulda been a decent manager for somebody

KingofOldSchool 11-18-2008 05:59 PM

The following has been posted on WWE.com:

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of ECW Superstar Armando Estrada as of Nov. 18, 2008. WWE wishes him the best in all future endeavors.

BigDaddyCool 11-18-2008 06:15 PM

Not suprised.

#BROKEN Hasney 11-18-2008 06:20 PM

Weird, I don't see it on WWE.com... But pwinsider has confirmed it anyways.

Ever since he and Umaga split up, it all went downhill for him.

Gonna miss him. Awesome mic worker.

Shadow 11-19-2008 04:05 AM

We have to stop prediction who's gonna get released next. We might end up getting rid of John Cena.........wait a second here...
